brown. they have been there for several hours now after a woman claimed brown violently threatened her with a gun. >> you can see the big mansion and the luxury cars and the sports cars behind it here as the helicopter zooms around. ron has the latest on this breaking story. what do you have run -- ron? >> we have been watching it go on outside his home in the call came in at about 3:00 in the morning. officers did try to enter the home. when they tried to enter the house for search for a possible weapon, they were told, go get a search warrant. tmz reporting that they were later able to successfully retrieve guns, weapons, and

coming to a peaceful ending. they say that i they tried to stop a vehicle earlier this morning. the driver took off, and it's believed that driver had outstanding felony warrants. he ended up barricading himself inside a home for several hours. police placed that neighborhood in lockdown but eventually the man came out and was arrested. a tripping stabbing at a apartment complex under investigation at this hour, police saying these three men stabbed each other. the brother got in a fight at 17th avenue and ocatillo and started stabbing each other. when the officers arrived, two surrendered, one barricaded himself inside. all three will survive but all are facing charges. a big intersection closed for hours because of a bad crash. a lot of police tape up near 32nd street and bell, a two car accident. police say a white truck was traveling northbound. the driver went around traffic,

right into the silver car. as you can see all of the damage there. that driver was taken to the hospital in very bad shape. police say there may be more than just a red light violation here. the driver of the truck may have been under the influence. it's recommended that anybody heading to that area may want to avoid it. a hit-and-run suspect is behind bars thanks to a good samaritan. d.p.s. says a speeding driver rear-ended another car near the i-17 on bethany home road. the suspect then got out of the car, ran off the freeway neighborhood nearby. fortunately a tow truck driver saw the whole thing and chased the guy down. >> so i went southbound on the northbound side of the freeway, tried to stop him. he ran down a couple of blocks through the neighborhood. >> the crash looks pretty bad as you can see. take a look here at this vehicle. fortunately no one was hurt. police believe drugs or alcohol may have played a role in the crash.

well, running of the bulls in pamplona spain, we see that all the time, but today a similar event in peru, and some injuries in this one. they are all in a pen. it's not like they are running through the streets, right? the bulls aren't happy. they are out for revenge. look at these people. i can't imagine doing this. this is some sort of religious celebration. >> there's no fence, no guardrail, no nothing there. >> you can hear people screaming. >> >> unbelievable. count me out. >> yeah, me too. a strange story here out of new zealand, this is bizarre, listen to this, after someone steals more than 500 milking cows from farmers. police believe the theft took place over a period of time, and that the farmer just didn't notice a few of his cows disappearing each and every day. >> this could be a record setting year in california when it comes to almonds.

parts of california. in the san joaquin valley, farmers are expected to harvest more than 2 billion pounds of almond, shattering a record and helping lower almond prices. some drivers made an unusual discovery at the bottom of a north carolina lake, finding a gravestone from 1919 to march 9th, 1989, and after a little research it turns out that the cemetery nearby. it's possible that the stone was stolen and dumped into the lake. until they find the family, the stone is going to stay right there in the lake. coming up, an international space race that has a $20 million prized attached to it. >> and a big mess in a western city, where people are hit by hail. and we have got thunderstorms of our own right now to talk about, they are

radar. we'll take you on a little tour here and show you who's getting what. right here in the rim country, as we call it, from christopher creek on south, cold ranch, all of those folks there who live in the mountains along route 260, you have already seen your rain and it continues to work its way on to the south. love to see that. so bring it on. we'll take all we can. it stretches all the way from pine, strawberry, over past heber and overgaard, and you folks in white river, boy, that way, keep your eyes on the northern skies because this thing is coming right down the road from mcnary. there may be some small hail in there. this is an intense storm as well, kind of pushing into the mountains, and again all of this is drifting its way in a southwesterly direction, keep an eye over there. and then it's all pushing out east to new mexico, gosh,

today. as you get into apache county up towards saw mill, we have got some showers going up there as well. that's most of the rain for the moment, anyway. futurecast continues to show these showers pushing their way on to south and west, we'll see how far they get. by dinner time things will have quieted down for the most part. we may still be catching some showers there along the i-17, north of cave creek, even those look like they will be l to the overnight hours. i think the valley will probably stay rain free here, but temperature-wise, already jumping up. 107 in yuma, 95 in gila bend, 94 degrees in kingman, and we are at a beautiful 76 up there in flagstaff. the valley numbers, everybody over a hundred, except for you folks at deer valley airport. thanks to you for holding the line. a quick look at the rest of the nation. warm every place, east of the rockies lots of 90s scheduled for the day.
